The Cinterandes Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes human health and development in Ecuador. Led by the former minister of health and in cooperation with the Medical School of the University of Cuenca and the University of Azuay, Cinterandes has introduced mobile surgery, an innovative method of surgical care, into the underdeveloped regions of the Andean mountains, coastal region and Amazon jungle of Ecuador.  Click on any photo to view larger.
